I recently bought a mini led pocket light which was really bright but not 360 degree, when I saw a promo on this particular led lantern I couldn't resist and had to get it. This lantern is very safe because it works using batteries and is in no way connected to an outlet. It came really well packaged and it was really easy to understand how to open it and make it work. I always have extra batteries on hand which was good because you do need your own to put in. The lantern opens from bottom where you can add your batteries, then you pull up the handles according to how much light you need. The lantern is really bright when fully opened (attached picture). At night I turned off all lights and put it on my dining table to just get a demo and it provided sufficient light where I won't be bumping into things if there is power out or something. Really loved this product and will recommend it to others, it's not only good for camping but can also be used in several other ways so definitely a must buy.
